Music Library

Think of our library as an evolving resource, with new additions every month, changes in locations and procedures, as we work out the bugs in the system. We hope to make the library more user friendly as time goes on. The library committee welcomes your suggestions and your help in implementing changes. Donations of music are welcome. Because of current space constraints please inform us of your intended gift before bringing music to the meeting.

Location: The library is housed at our meeting place, through the kind donation of space by St. Andrews Lutheran Church. Mark Walter is providing extra storage space at his home.

Access: The library is open to all SCRS members. Access to the music is though the catalog.Ê Requests for music are given to the librarian who will retrieve them and check the music out for one month.ÊReserve early for holiday music.

Requesting Music: Requests for music may be made a half hour befor the general meetings and during the meeting breaks. If possible, make your request a week before the monthly meeting, to Paula Sirola, either through Email or a postcard/letter to 1221 Olancha Drive, LA 90065. Please, no phone calls. The request should include the library ID number and title of each piece. There is a limit of 10 pieces per month. Pieces are due at the beginning of the following monthly meeting.
